Killer Circuit Workout

I’m sorry I haven’t been posting much lately but I have been super busy with work,  my fitness trainer course and personal workouts, but I wanted to give you a quick post just to share this awesome workout that I did last Monday at the gym. I was so pumped afterwards and I enjoyed it to much. The workout really engaged every part of my body and I could feel myself wanting to push myself more and challenge myself to complete the entire circuit.

The best thing about this workout is that you can do this workout anywhere!  All you need are dumbbells and a bench (or something to sit back onto), a heap of determination and just do it!!!

 

All you need to do is follow the videos below which I found on the Metabolic Effect Youtube Channel. I did both videos for arms and legs  in one session.

ARM CIRCUIT

LEG CIRCUIT

 

My workout went like this:

  • 15 Minute run (2.5Kms)
  • Dynamic stretch (Important to stretch well before this one, especially on the legs)
  • Arms x2 (3/4kg)
  • 60 seconds rest
  • Legs x2
  • 60 seconds rest
  • Arms x1
  • 60 seconds rest
  • Legs x1
  • I finished this off with some abs exercises and some stretches.

The total workout took just 45 minutes.
